Walter Gropius was the father of the Post-modern movement called Bauhaus after the school he founded in Germany at the beginning of the 20th century.
A German architect and founder of the Bauhaus School, Gropius, who, along with Alvar Aalto, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier, and Frank Lloyd Wright, is widely regarded as one of the pioneering masters of modernist architecture. Interestingly enough, Walter Gropius actually dropped out of college before finishing his degree in architecture!
MJS INC has developed this style for smaller residential design and call it "Industrial Chic" as an homage to Gropius. The style is clean with generous use of glass from floor to ceiling separated only by the walls of a particular room as you can see in these two examples.
MJS INC is once again setting the bar even higher in the field of good residential design!
