Vastu shastra (vāstu śāstra) is a traditional Hindu system of architecture which literally translates to "science of architecture."These are texts found on the Indian subcontinent that describe principles of design, layout, measurements, ground preparation, space arrangement and spatial geometry. Interesting dictates of room location such as the premium location for the entry into the house (being on the east side), the location of the kitchen (southeast) bedroom and living space locations as well. This will undoubtedly make us the experts in Vastu shastra house design in Central Florida once we're through the design process!
